We have had an amazing set of papers for WOSP 2005. Their selection have received high evaluation score. Since we have a limited number of formal presentation slots during the conference, the Programme Committee approved the following categories of accepted works:
- Regular Papers (R): These papers have a maximum of 12 pages in camera-ready form and will be presented in formal sessions. An overhead view graph projector and a laptop pc with input/ouput for CD, USB flash memories, etc. will be provided to each technical session; if an author needs additional or other audio/visual aids it should be made known in advance. Authors who will be presenting papers are expected to introduce themselves to the session chair before the session starts (see programme). Even the duration of each presentation is half an hour long, authors must leave at least 5 minutes out in order to answer questions from other participants at the end of the presentation. Since the wall screen is huge, a laser pointer may be used.
- Experience Papers (E): These papers have a maximum of 8 pages in camera-ready form and will be presented in the same conditions of R papers.
- Posters (P): These papers have a maximum of 6 pages in camera-ready form and will be presented in the different conditions of R and E papers. Authors who will be presenting posters only have 10 minutes to briefly announce the contents of their work. Initially, it is not considered any question during these short presentations. Author of poster sessions are expected to bring with them to the conference a poster or a set of pages describing their work. These documents will be pinned to presentation boards (90 cm. high, 100 cm. wide, one board per work) and discussed with participants during breaks or other out of meeting events. Posters remanin pinned during the day of the presentation but may be pinned out in the case of a limitation of space in the following days.
- Work-in-progress papers (W): These papers have a maximum of 2 pages in camera-ready form and will be presented in the same conditions of P papers (10 minutes without questions).
